Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy exists to provide an environment where a relationship with Jesus Christ can grow and flourish. This relationship results in abundant living in this life, through unselfish service to others, and provides true happiness through a hope for a better life to come. We strive to help each student integrate the subjects of their classroom into a Christian character that serves both God and man. Central to our philosophy of education is our belief in God as the creator and sustainer of the universe, and the recognition that all humanity are children of God and stewards of this world. Seventh-day Adventist education includes the development of academic excellence to the greatest potential of each student and nurturing them to become a responsible adult. Holy Scripture places the primary responsibility for the total education of the child on the parent’s with the church and school aiding in the appropriate way. Therefore, Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy seeks to aid the parents in this task. Our teachers strive to integrate a Biblically based view of life within the various subject areas. We strive to provide a structure for both sound educational information and moral principles. Our desire is for students and parents choosing to join the PHAA school family to embrace the spirit of the school policies (Spirit of the Law) as we grow together.
Every student is considered a unique and precious individual before God. We seek the development of the whole person through our Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLRs). The school’s long-held goals of well-rounded education in mind, body, and spirit were the foundation for the ESLRs.
Expected School-wide Learning Results But more than anything else, put God’s work first and do what He wants. Then the other things will be yours as well. Matthew 6:33 (CEV)
