Bible II Reviewed story of Joseph and began practicing Memory Verse; 1 Tim 4:12-13 NKJV. 8.23.10 Bible IV 1 Timothy 4:12-13 memorizing, and a study of Jn 1 Quiz tuesday! (MV, Daniel (parts of the statue, prophecy of Dan ch 8-9, look at the timeline on this link (http://biblelight.net/dan927.htm) Also on the quiz you may be asked to explain a few of the 28 beliefs of SDA. In addition, you may be asked about the beginning of book of John 1. Bible II Practiced Memory Verse; 1 Tim 4:12-13 NKJV, and began the study of Exodus. Quiz tuesday! (MV and the material in Genesis 37-Exodus 1) 8.24.10 Bible IV Quiz was postponed until Wednesday! We prepared for the quiz by reviewing the Dan 8-9 prophecy, the Neb. statue, John ch 1, and Revelation 14 (3 angels messages). Also on the quiz you may be asked to explain a few of the 28 beliefs of SDA. Memorize 1 Timothy 4:12-13 Daniel 2300 days and 70 week time prophecy - (http://biblelight.net/dan927.htm) Bible II Took quiz, graded and reviewed the quiz, and studied Exodus 2. 8.25.10 Bible IV Took Quiz 1. Graded and review quiz content. Studied John 1:29-34 "Behold the Lamb" Bible II 3 groups of 6 students prepared and presented skits covering the content of Exodus 2:15-25. Very Entertaining! Great Job! 8.30.10 Bible IV A few students used concordances for the class to look up many texts related to "wedding," "bride", and "bridegroom." We laid the foundation for the study of John chapter 2 and the wedding at Cana. We learned how God's people are the bride and Jesus is the bridegroom. Tomorrow we will study chapter 2. Bible II Compared 1 Chr 21:1 to 2 Sam 24:1 in relation to Exodus 4 where is says God hardened Pharoh's heart. Students were also introduced to their new memory verse, Luke 6:46-49. We spent time in class memorize the first 2 verses of it together. Tomorrow we will continue our study of Exodus chapter 4. 9.1.10 Bible IV Studied new memory verse (Luke 6:46-49) Discussed concepts behing Exodus 4:24 Looked at differences/similarities of 2 Sam 24 and 1 Chr 21 Reviewed first half of John 3 Bible II Studied new memory verse (Luke 6:46-49) Discussed the plagues experienced by the Egyptians. Looked at the probable progression of Pharaohs, including Hatshepsut. Learned about the Passover. |
