► BUSINESS DIRECTORY: Family Health and Financial Ministries is sponsoring a SDA Business Directory that is now available. Proceeds from this year's directory generated $1200.00 to Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy's Worthy Student Fund. If you are interested in joining, would like information on available seminars, or would like to be included in the next edition directory, please contact Family Health & Financial Ministries at contact@fhfministries.org. We would like to thank this grass roots organization for their service to our children. – Ally Emmerson
► SOLUTIONS FOR LEARNING: We have become aware of a tutor resource designed specifically for children who struggle with Reading and Math (grades K-6). She is also experienced in tutoring children with Dyslexia. If you are interested in learning more and/or arranging a free one hour parent consultation and student assessment please contact Lorina Daves Tornai; e-mail ldaves@sbcglobal.net, phone (510) 758-3605.
► BRING IN ALL YOUR BOX TOPS: Thank you for your help in collecting box tops for PHAA!! Please continue to collect box tops to support our school!
► RECYCLING PROGRAM: We are continuing to collect bottles, cans, cartridges and cell phones but we are no longer collecting #1 recyclables like fruit and vegetable containers (plastic containers that do not have a CRV).  Thank you to those who are bringing in the items.  Since the start of the school year, we have raised already over $500 from our recycling programs to help the Worthy Student Fund.
► LUCKYS/FOOD MAXX, RALEYS/NOB HILL: Cards upon request. Ask friends and family to sign up for one of the grocery cards. It’s free, but raises money for our school. It’s a race against the classes to see who can get the most signups. First prize – pizza party and $100!!!
